The Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) and POM Limburg organized a company visit to the Anima Research Center (ARC), based at this Diepenbeek Health Campus, on 10 June 2022. As one of the key players on the Diepenbeek Health Campus and an important clinical trial center for the discovery of new treatments for diseases, they contributed greatly to various COVID vaccines studies, amongst others.

On 3 May 2022, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce organized in cooperation with the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) a Briefing Seminar on “Doing business with China & How to ensure strong quality control procedures”. 

The Belgian-Chinese business community came together in the evening of 21 April 2022 to celebrate the great performances of our athletes during the Winter Olympic games in Beijing, surrounded by H.E. Mr. Cao Zhongming, Chinese Ambassador, and Mr. Jean-Michel Saive, Chairman of the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee (BOIC).

In celebration of the 50 years of diplomatic relations between Belgium and China, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) successfully organized a hybrid event between the capital cities Brussels and Beijing on 7 December 2021 at the Tangla Hotel in Brussels, “When Brussels meets Beijing: New opportunities for Belgian companies”. BCECC’s half-day conference featured high-level speakers and panellists sharing their knowledge on a broad range of topics, a panel discussion and a networking lunch during which participants could share their best practices and make new business connections.

To welcome those who have come aboard as a new member during the pandemic and to meet up with our older friends after the holidays, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) organized its first offline event of this year: Mix & Mingle BBQ on 2 September 2021.
