BCECC was delighted to organize a webinar on “A glance behind Alibaba’s Global Online Shopping Festival” on December 8, 2020. Mr. Yuefung Sun, Alibaba Cloud Evangalist, showed some figures and highlights on the Double 11 Shopping Festival, discussed the technological infrastructure behind it and some tips for better insight into your customers.
The BCECC organized the workshop on ‘Trade Fairs in China and how Belgian SMEs can be fully prepared’ on March 12, 2020, in cooperation with the EUSMECentre and China IPR. Participants were able to learn more about how to prepare for trade fairs in China and how to protect their company’s Intellectual Property.
The BCECC organized a company visit to Lapauw International NV on March 3, 2020, in the presence of H.E. Cao Zhongming. Participants visited the warehouse to learn more about the company’s production. Afterwards, they had the opportunity to attend a networking drink.
In light of the Chinese New Year of the Rat, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) organized its annual cocktail reception on February 5, 2020. Our New Year’s Reception took place in the beautiful premises of the Bozar in Brussels. We welcomed over 250 guests, including H.E. Mr. Cao Zhongming, Ambassador of P.R. China to Belgium.
Shenzhen is an active region and raises a lot of interest abroad. This can be reflected by the visit of the Shenzhen Yantian District People’s Government. On this occasion, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) organized the China (Shenzhen Yantian) – Belgium Trade & Technology Exchange Conference on December 10, 2019.
On December 5, the BCECC organized a company visit to Neuhaus. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the fabrication of pralines and to taste a few during the visit of the factory. They also learned about the creation and evolution of Neuhaus’ Chinese market during the inspiring speech of Mr. Philip Geeraert.
