Recap of the BCECC’s participation to the Princely Mission to China in 2019

From November 17 to November 22, 2019, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) joined the biggest ever Belgian Princely Mission to Beijing and Shanghai. The Belgian Economic Mission to China was presided by HRH Princess Astrid and counted more than 630 participants from all parts of Belgium.

Belgium – China (Chengdu) B2B Matchmaking Event

On October 23, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) received a business delegation from Chengdu for the Belgium-China (Chengdu) B2B Matchmaking Event.
The participants enjoyed a presentation in Chinese and English about opportunities in Flanders and Chengdu, and had the opportunity to find potential business partners during some B2B networking.
China Customs Event

The BCECC organized the China Customs Event on 24 October 2019.
Mr. Weijian (First Secretary Customs of the Mission of P.R. China to the EU) and Mrs. Bedoyan (Belgian Customs Attaché in Beijing) explained some of the customs issues they have encountered. Guests were also able to attend a B2B networking drink. Find some pictures here.

The Young Professionals Networking Night on 17 October 2019 was attended by more than 120 young professionals from 10 local and international Chambers of Commerce. Aside from networking opportunities, guests were also able to try some exciting new technologies at the Microsoft Center.

After a visit of a business delegation from Chengdu, the BCECC organized their B2B Matchmaking Event on 23 October 2019. A total of 14 companies and business leaders representing sectors like technology, financial services, culture & education, business services, e-commerce, agriculture and engineering travelled to Belgium to explore opportunities and seek cooperation in their respective fields.
