The Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) is pleased to invite you to a webinar in collaboration with the China IPR SME Helpdesk on “Trade Secrets and the digital misappropriation of assets” and “China’s new Cyber Security Law and IP implications” on October 29, 2020 at 10.30 CET (17.30 CST).

When establishing your business in a new market, it is a must to protect your trade secrets. In order to maintain your company’s competitive advantage, you need to take steps to keep your innovation and know-how secret. In other words, if you are an innovative business active in China, it is indispensable to implement an action plan to protect your trade secrets.

The Cyber Security Law of the People’s Republic of China (CSL) was established in June 2017. It has significant implications concerning data privacy and data transfer for European SME’s doing business in China.

Mr. Valentin de le Court, IP Expert of the China IPR SME Helpdesk will discuss the above topics and provide useful tips and tools for European companies engaged in business in China.
