You’ve always wanted to improve the communication with your Chinese business partners, but you don’t know where to start? The BCECC’s Online Business Chinese Courses for beginners & advanced learners are back! After 8 successful editions, we will again organize our highly effective 2-level series course for busy professionals such as yourself, starting from March 12, 2024.

Objectives and timing:
During 10 sessions of 90 minutes each, from March 12, 2024 to June 11, 2024 (Excluding Easter Holidays in both Flanders & Wallonia, and May 20).

Learn verbal communications and grammatical basics, while improving your pronunciation and expanding your vocabulary. Receive cultural tips and tricks for businesspeople.

Level A:
Target group: absolute beginners who want to start from scratch or have a basic knowledge

  • Learn around 250-300 basic words on 10 topics, such as greeting people, introducing yourself and others, your age, your nationality, numbers, dates and time, size of companies, etc. 
  • Discover how the systems of pinyin (Chinese phonetic symbols) and Hanzi (Chinese characters) work
  • Grasp some basic Chinese grammar rules
  • On Tuesdays March 12, March 19, March 26, April 16, April 23, May 14, May 21, May 28, June 4, June 11 from 12:00 to 13:30 CET

Level B:
Target group: people who are familiar with about 100 to 150 basic words and the pinyin system, aiming to expand their business vocabulary and improve their speaking skills

  • Learn around 250-300 high-frequency words on topics such as locations, time, ongoing actions, shopping, ordering food, routines, skills, transportation means, weather, etc.
  • Improve your pronunciation
  • Grasp more grammar rules
  • On Thursdays March 14, March 21, March 28, April 18, April 25, May 16, May 23, May 30, June 6, June 13 from 12:00 to 13:30 CET
