Did you know that one of the longest railways in China of the 20th century was coordinated by a Belgian engineer? If not, why not join our guided visit to the Train World exhibition “From Peking to Hankou: A Belgian adventure in China” on 22 September 2021 at 14:00 CET? Dive into an unknown piece of China’s history, which was a beautiful example of Sino-Belgian combined efforts!
This exhibition showcases not only the historical Chinese railways and its modern high-speed railway system, but also some contemporary art by artist Li Kunwu and scenographer François Schuiten. Mr. Schuiten is a well-known icon in the Belgian comic world and has contributed to many Belgian murals, stamps and pavillions as a scenographer.
