Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC)

CGTN interviews the BCECC’s Chairman

CGTN hosted a highly anticipated forum that brought together experts from China and Europe to discuss the opportunities and challenges of the crucial bilateral relationship between the two regions. The panel was composed of accomplished academics, economists, and policymakers, all of whom provided valuable insights into the future of China-Europe relations. As one of the guests, Bernard Dewit, Chairman of the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) was asked to give his views on various topics, including the importance of EU-China economy stability and launching of China-EU investment agreement.

According to Mr. Dewit, it appears that there is a growing willingness on the part of Europe to engage in dialogues with China, evidenced by recent exchanges between leaders from both regions. Moreover, there has been a notable uptick in business activities and visits as China continues to open up to the global community.
