As the first event after the holidays and to welcome you back from the summer break, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) had the pleasure to invite its network to the BCECC Summer Barbecue on August 29, 2019 in Sint-Katelijne-Waver in presence of H.E. Mr. CAO Zhongming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Belgium.
More than 50 guests were received in the beautiful premises of the newly opened Kasteel Sint-Michiels, and enjoyed a quality barbecue buffet and sipped a drink in the adjacent garden.
On that occasion, our guest of honor took the opportunity to address a few words and discuss more deeply the concerns that Belgian and European business people might have in regards to the Belt & Road, especially when it comes to its strategic, military, and political objectives, or its financing, amongst other hot topics.
