We recently saw some changes to the data protection legislation in China and tax regimes for expats in Belgium. China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) took effect on 1 November 2021, aiming to regulate processing activities involving personal data of Chinese individuals . Moreover, a new special tax regime for expatriates in Belgium entered into force on 1 January 2022. What do these updates entail for your business?
