The Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) is the leading Belgian business association for companies engaged in doing business in or with China. We are a non-profit organization established in the 1980s following China’s open-door policy and we are located in Brussels, the heart of Europe.

From March 14 to 21, 2026, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC), Voka-KvK Flemish-Brabant, and the Province of Flemish Brabant are organizing an exclusive trade mission to Chengdu and Shanghai, led by Provincial Governor Jan Spooren. This mission offers both small entrepreneurs and established businesses the opportunity to network with local stakeholders, explore growth possibilities, and strengthen strategic collaborations in China.

Chengdu, the economic engine of Western China, is a thriving center for innovation, technology, and commerce. As a key logistics hub within the Belt and Road Initiative, Chengdu plays a pivotal role in strengthening trade links between China, Europe, and global markets through its advanced rail, air, and industrial infrastructure. Since 2011, its partnership with Flemish Brabant has fostered groundbreaking collaborations, talent exchange, and sustainable economic growth.

Shanghai, one of China’s largest economic centers, combines a dynamic business climate with rich cultural heritage and international appeal. With a 2024 GDP of approximately €650 billion, Shanghai is a hub for trade, finance, and innovation, offering Flemish companies a strategic gateway to the Chinese and broader Asian markets.

This unique program offers you:

Join this trade mission and gain firsthand insights into the Chinese market, key business contacts, sustainable business models, and local market dynamics — all under the guidance of Flemish Brabant’s Governor, Jan Spooren.
