US-China tensions intensified and Sino-American relations nosedived over the past few months, what with the ongoing tech war, tensions surrounding the Taiwan Strait, the South China Sea, ideological and economic competition, etc. As future US-China relations will have fundamental implications for the rest of the world, the BCECC will organize its webinar “The state of US-China relations & its implications for European businesses”  on May 4, 2023 at 11:00 CET.

How does the EU position itself in the US-China competition? What will the future transatlantic EU-US relationship look like? We have invited William Klein, former Minister Counselor for Political Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing and former Head of the Political Section of the American Institute in Taiwan, to discuss the roadmap of US-China relations and how your business can adapt itself to it. Mr. Klein currently helps the global clientele of consulting company FGS Global to navigate the growing geopolitical uncertainties of the modern world.
