To explore benefits for foreign companies in the dynamic region of Wuhan, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) organized an event titled “The Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone: Opportunities for foreign companies” on May 16, 2024.
Attendees were treated to exciting insights into WEDZ’s future by the Wuhan Municipal Committee, Mr. Liu Ziqing. Afterward, industry leaders from companies like Lotus Tech Innovation Centre GmbH, VOYAH Benelux, Infervision Europe, and For-Energy shared insightful testimonies about collaborating with the Province of Wuhan in major sectors such as renewable energies, automotive technologies, or AI medical technologies. Ward Vleegen of Agoria’s Automotive Club demonstrated the strengths of the automotive sector in Belgium and automotive tech innovations. The event concluded with major contract signings, marking a promising future for the WEDZ.
