The European Commission has launched a temporary IT tool to support EU industry in submitting urgent license applications related to Chinese export controls on rare earths and related products. The IT tool will ensure greater confidentiality and will optimise the information submission process.
To ensure confidential handling of information, the European Commission will consolidate on a regular basis lists of urgent license applications, and only share the license application number with China, whereas the other information requested is for strictly internal use.

Open for submission: from Thursday morning to Friday COB every week (Brussels time).
