Learn firsthand about China’s strategic vision for its relationship with Europe and engage directly with Ambassador Cai during a Q&A session and networking lunch in a relaxed setting.
Ambassador Cai, who took office in 2024, brings a wealth of diplomatic experience to his role. Before becoming China’s Ambassador to the EU, he served as China’s Ambassador to Israel since 2021, and previously held the position of Chinese Ambassador to Portugal from 2015 to 2020 and Minister Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C. from 2005 to 2008.
