On February 13, 2025, the BCECC hosted its annual Chinese New Year Reception at the prestigious Cercle Royal Gaulois Artistique & Littéraire in Brussels, celebrating the Year of the Snake with 300 guests. This event brought together esteemed attendees, including H.E. Mr. Fei Shengchao, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Belgium, and Mr. Pieter De Crem, Commissioner-General of the Belgian Commission General for International Exhibitions (BelExpo).
The evening began with a speech from Mr. Bernard Dewit, Chairman of the BCECC welcoming everyone and presenting our sponsors, followed by insightful remarks from Ambassador Fei about the prospects of BE-CN relations and Mr. De Crem. Their speeches highlighted the importance of cooperation and mutual respect between Belgium and China.
Following the speeches, guests were invited to enjoy a delightful cocktail reception, offering a perfect setting for high-level networking.
