On February 26, the BCECC held its annual Chinese New Year Reception at the prestigious Cercle Royal Gaulois Artistique & Littéraire in Brussels, welcoming nearly 300 distinguished guests to celebrate the Year of the Horse. The evening once again gathered prominent representatives from the diplomatic, political, and business communities, underscoring the strong and dynamic relationship between Belgium and China.
The reception opened with welcome remarks by the Chairman of the BCECC, who warmly greeted the attendees and expressed sincere appreciation to this year’s sponsors: CCPIT, BYD, Bank of China, Juneyao Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Moutai, and Omoda & Jaecoo.
In their official addresses, Mr. Jan Jambon, H.E. Mr. Fei Shengchao, and Mr. Bernard Dewit emphasized the importance of continued dialogue, economic cooperation, and mutual respect in further strengthening Belgium–China relations. Their speeches highlighted emerging opportunities in trade, innovation, sustainability, and cultural exchange, setting a constructive and forward-looking tone for the year ahead.
Following the formal program, guests enjoyed an elegant cocktail reception, offering an excellent opportunity for high-level networking in a refined and festive setting.
