The Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) is pleased to invite you to the “Smart Logistics & the Silk Road” Event on Thursday, 18 December 2025, from 16:30 at the ABC Building in Zeebrugge.

On this occasion, we are proud to join forces with Howest, COSCO Shipping Lines Zeebrugge, and the Province of West Flanders to mark the official academic and business launch of the European Silk Road School, a unique partnership between Howest, COSCO Shipping Ports, and Zhejiang Gongshang University (China).

Over the past decades, cooperation between Belgium and China has grown significantly, with logistics, innovation, and international education playing an increasingly central role. The European Silk Road School builds on the historic connection between East and West and aims to strengthen it further by fostering knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration between Europe and China.

This special event will bring together academics, policymakers, and business leaders to explore the theme: “Smart Logistics & the Silk Road – Innovation, Cooperation, and Exchange along the New Silk Road.”

Within today’s rapidly evolving ecosystem of global trade and logistics, this event offers a valuable platform to gain insights into emerging developments, discover new opportunities for cooperation, and connect with key stakeholders from across the academic and business communities.
