On October 22, 2025, the BCECC hosted a Roundtable on Opportunities with Shanghai Fengxian District, titled “Invest in Fengxian – Share a Bright Future,” in Brussels.
Located just south of Shanghai, Fengxian District is a dynamic center for innovation, sustainability, and international investment, home to leading industries in cosmetics, biopharma, and high-quality food. Global brands such as L’Oréal, Shiseido, Johnson & Johnson, and Nestlé have already established a strong presence there.
The roundtable welcomed a high-level delegation from Fengxian District, including Mr. Liu Wei, Deputy District Mayor, Mr. Shen Jun, Director, Ms. Jiang Lili, Deputy Director, Mr. Yao Wei, Director, and Mr. Fang Wei, Mayor, who shared insights into the district’s business environment and development priorities.
The event concluded with networking drinks, allowing attendees to exchange ideas and explore cooperation opportunities with representatives from Fengxian District and the Belgium-China business community.
