Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC)

Luncheon with Vice-President and CFO of AIIB [FOR MEMBERS ONLY]

23/05/2018
Brussels

Global economic gravity is moving to Asia. But talk of trade wars, currency wars, and the curtailing of foreign investment flows, show how the world is struggling with the change. China is sustaining its growth momentum and the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative aims at boosting the rest of the world also. However, the multilateral system has not yet sufficiently accommodated China’s efforts. With the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), China has launched its own multilateral development financial institution, and Belgium is about to become an AIIB member country. What’s in it for Belgium, for Europe and Asia, for you and your company?

The Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) and the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) and have the pleasure of inviting you to a Luncheon Meeting with Mr. Thierry de Longuemar, Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), who will present the AIIB and its ambitions and the priorities of the upcoming AIIB Annual Meeting in Mumbai.
