Shenyang is the provincial capital of Liaoning, an international center city in Northeast Asia, a national historical and cultural city, an international comprehensive transportation hub city, an advanced manufacturing base in China, a modern service industry center in the Northeast, and a regional science and technology innovation highland. In 2022, the city’s robotics and intelligent manufacturing cluster successfully entered the national list of advanced manufacturing clusters, representing the Northeast region to become a national team leading the innovation and development of the robotics industry. It has a wide influence nationally and globally, with a strong foundation and comparative advantage to build a world-class robotics and intelligent manufacturing cluster.
Since its inception in 2015, the Shenyang Robotics Conference (hereafter referred to as the “Conference”) has adhered to the open and inclusive concept of hosting the event, actively building a platform for exchange and cooperation among experts, scholars, industry elites, and innovators in the field of robotics both domestically and internationally. Through activities such as upstream and downstream industry chain cooperation discussions, investment and financing docking, and industry integration exchanges, the Conference has made a positive contribution to the construction of a robotics industry ecosystem.
This year’s Conference is hosted by the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shenyang Sub-Council（CCPIT Shenyang）, and is scheduled to be held from May 31 to June 2, 2026, in Shenyang. With the theme “Intelligent-driven New Quality Productivity, Machinery Connecting
Future Industrial Cities,” the Conference plans to invite 400 academicians, experts, scholars, senior executives of smart manufacturing enterprises, media, and representatives of official institutions from home and abroad. The Conference plans to include activities such as the opening ceremony, launch of cutting-edge technology and innovative technology project discussions, expert dialogues on high-quality development of the robotics industry, keynote forums, a Sino-Korean AI and robotics industry cooperation forum, and the 2026 North Region Qualifying Round of the Mecha Master Super Challenge.
