International travel is being greatly influenced by the Coronavirus (covid-19) crisis. Therefore the travel advice to China is adapted regularly.
Due to the announcement of a new measure by the Chinese authorities we would like to inform you that foreigners will be denied any access to the Chinese territory temporarily and until further notice, from midnight on the the 28th of March. This is also the case for foreigners who are already in possession of a valid visa or residence permit and for travellers who plan to transit China without needing a visa. Source
