Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC)

On November 22, 2019, The Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce organizes its annual Belgian Business Seminar in the Renaissance Marriot in Wan Chai.

The topic of the 2019 seminar is ‘Belgian-Chinese Economic Relations in the Era of Protectionism’. After opening remarks by Senator & former Chairman of SFPI/FPIM Mr. Rik Daems, the participants will have the opportunity to listen to the speech of Mr. Jan van Hove, Chief Economist from KBC Bank.

Afterwards guests will be invited by Mr. Peter Robberecht to interact with a panel discussion featuring panelists from Bpost, Ziegler and Tiang & Partners (partner of PwC), who will add their insights from their own experience in doing business in the region and share with the audience how their businesses are affected by protectionism.

Before beginning a networking session, Mr. Philippe de Backer will provide participants with closing remarks.
